1. Wash the area that will receive the tattoo or laser treatment with soap and water.

2. Cover the skin with a warm towel for 5 minutes and dry the area completely.

3. Apply the cream to the skin, and rub well (1/8" or 2-3 mm thick) over the area.

4. Cover the TKTX cream with plastic wrap and keep warm. The heat under the plastic wrap helps activate the cream and prevents it from drying out.

5. Leave the TKTX cream and wrap it in place for 1 hour before tattoo.

6. Typically, the skin remains numb for, depending on the cream you purchased, 3-5 hours or 6-8 hours.
